"Thiss is your ssecret?!" Mathis hissed angrily and slithered to the two under the willow tree, "You keep a human from me?! you know there iss a shortage of prey!" Berwald jumped and got between Mathis and his mate.

"She is not for you!" Berwald glared down at the smaller naga.

"Ber, what's going on?" (Y/n) softly whimpered, but her voice was drowned out by angry hissing and yelling.

"I'm the king though!" Mathis struck at Ber, but Lukas and Emil dashed at Mathis, knocking him over.

"Run!" Lukas yelled, trying to hold Mathis down. Berwald nodded and turned to (Y/n), only to find a very angry naga with purple eyes and a light blue and white tail, holding (Y/n) by the throat.

"Tino, let her go," he hissed.

"No!" Tino yelled and dug his nails into her neck, making her cry a little.

"B-Berwald! help!" she grasped Tino's wrist with her hands, trying to pry it off. Hearing her cry for help, Berwald wrapped his tail around Tino's neck and started to squeeze hard on the smaller naga's neck. He eventually let go of (Y/n) and Berwald quickly grabbed her. She tried to push him off, but Berwald picked her up bridal style and slithered away from the tree, not even looking back. He went into the forest and stopped at the border of Mathis's territory. Trying to decide what to do.

Stay and have (Y/n) still be in danger?

Or,

Leave the territory, where he knew she would be safe from his "friends," but he didn't know what was out there, and himself could be put in danger, which would put his mate in danger as well.
